WELCOME/FAREWELL PICNIC

This annual event is organized by the program both to welcome incoming residents and their families and to bid farewell to the graduating residents. A perfect venue for sports, food and fun.

WELCOME DINNER

This is an annual welcoming party for incoming interns and their families. It’s a perfect opportunity for the newcomers to meet and greet residents, faculty, attendings and consultants.

PLACEBO CUP

An annual sportsfest showcasing basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, bowling, pingpong and much more!.The whole residency program is divided into two teams. The team with the most number of points wins the most coveted “Placebo Cup” trophy.

In the spirit of giving, residents get to play “Secret Santa” during the Christmas season….Lots of gifts and holiday cheer!!

HALLOWEEN

The perfect venue for residents and their families to show up in their favorite halloween costumes. The most popular one wins a prize.

BIRTHDAYS

Birthday cakes come abundant at St. Vincent’s. Every month, celebrants are treated to a delectable birthday cake for everybody to share. Next step…. Birthday songs in different languages.

GRADUATION DINNER AND CHAPEL CEREMONY RECEPTION

Two special events for the graduating class…… A formal sit-down dinner in one of Cleveland’s luxurious hotels organized by the Department of Internal Medicine….. followed by an elaborate buffet dinner a week later at our very own St. Vincent de Paul Function Room sponsored by the Hospital Administration.
